Zangi Owner Killed in Shooting at Tulsa Club
Tulsa Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Zangi Owner
Police are investigating the shooting death of a Tulsa man early Monday morning at a local club.
The victim has been identified as Azad Hussein, the owner of Zangi, a Mediterranean restaurant in Tulsa.
According to police, officers responded to a call of shots fired at The Colony Club around 1:30 a.m. Monday.
When officers arrived, they found Hussein suffering from a gunshot wound.
Hussein was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting.
The suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Deondre Davis.
Davis has been booked into the Tulsa County Jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.
Police are still investigating the motive behind the shooting.
