Legendary wrestler Goldberg's son, Gage, commits to CU Buffs football program
Former NFL star Deion Sanders and wrestling legend Bill Goldberg are reuniting in Colorado, thanks to Goldberg's son, Gage.
Gage, a standout defensive lineman, has committed to play football for the University of Colorado Boulder. The 6'4", 290-pounder is a three-star recruit and the Buffs' highest-rated defensive commitment in the 2024 class.
Sanders, who is the head coach at Colorado, is excited to add Gage to his team.
"Gage is a great football player and an even better person," Sanders said. "He's the kind of player we want in our program, and I'm excited to see what he can accomplish here at Colorado."
Goldberg, who is a Colorado native, is also thrilled that his son will be playing for the Buffs.
"I'm so proud of Gage for committing to Colorado," Goldberg said. "He's worked hard to get to this point, and I know he's going to be successful at CU."
Gage is excited to play for Sanders and the Buffs.
"I'm honored to be a part of this program," Gage said. "I'm excited to learn from Coach Sanders and the other coaches, and I'm ready to contribute to the team."
