New York/New Jersey to Host the Final in 2026
The full match schedule for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been released, featuring 104 games to be played in Canada, Mexico, and the USA. The 48-team tournament will be the first to feature an expanded field, up from 32 teams in previous editions.
The opening match of the tournament will be played on June 11, 2026, at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The final will be held on July 12, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
