Starship, SpaceX's next-generation megarocket, has resumed flight testing with its third launch from Starbase in Texas. The integrated flight test (IFT-3) was conducted on March 14, 2024, at 12:00 PM UTC.

The launch marked a significant milestone for SpaceX, as it was the first time the Starship had undergone a full-stack integration and launch since its previous test flights in 2022. The test included a powered ascent to an altitude of approximately 10 kilometers, followed by a controlled descent and landing.

According to SpaceX, the objectives of IFT-3 were to further validate the Starship's flight control systems, propellant loading, and separation procedures. The data collected during the test will be used to inform future development and testing of the Starship.
